You meet the minimum requirements to drive for Post & Parcel by, being at least 21 years of age, having a valid driver’s license, being able to work at least one day each weekend and are a reliable person who enjoys working as a team. This job is very physical. Our drivers lift at least 50 pounds without assistance and walk long distances.

You will need to complete a short “onboarding period” including a background and 4-panel drug screening. When you pass, you will be moved forward to Orientation and Driver Training which is an additional 6 – 7 day process. From Interview to Orientation is normally 1 – 2 weeks, then paid training is another 1-2 weeks.

While driving for us, we currently deliver in the northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis per route: Maple Grove, Anoka, Ramsey, Zimmerman, Plymouth, Brookly Park, Osseo, Coon Rapids, among others. We generally do not travel more than 45 miles away from the warehouse. Our delivery area may change with little or no warning and we do not guarantee a route in a specific city, neighborhood, or geography.

No. We provide you with a company cargo van and you start and stop your day at the same warehouse.

Yes. We will provide you with a branded uniform that includes your high-visibility work vest, badge, branded shirt and pants.

Your shift will start at 11:50am and will end at 9:45pm. The workload here is very physical. You are responsible for loading your cargo van. You will be in and out vans often, sitting and standing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds. You are also expected to be available for the full shift each day.

Item descriptionWe have both full-time and part-time hours available; however, the shift time stays the same at 11:50am – 9:45pm. A full-time schedule is considered 4 days per week and part-time is 2 – 3 days per week. We do not offer 4 – 5 hour shifts or the ability to leave early.

Each route is different, but you should expect 160 – 200 stops per route on average. You will enjoy delivering your own assigned packages with the comfort of having a Dispatch team awaiting to troubleshoot any issues you might encounter on the road.
Side Note: While you are assigned a specific route, our Team is responsible to deliver all of our assigned packages and you will be expected to provide assistance with additional deliveries. We do not make deliveries after 10:00pm.

Post & Parcel offers health insurance, for which our full-time employees are eligible. 401K plan and company match of up to 3% is available after being employed for 3 months, and Tuition & Skills Reimbursement up to $5,250.00 annually.

The holidays we recognize are: New Years Day, July 4th, Christmas Day including the day after Christmas and Thanksgiving. You will have those days off without pay.
